You dont have to be as extreme as these folks were. All I can say is I lost over 50 pounds with a modified version of the precepts these folks preached. Weight still off.
Thanks..I watched the first show and am 1/2 way through the 2nd.
I like that it gives me time to stop eating completely while juicing , and then rebuild my diet
the way it should be..

I am 57 years old, 5'4" tall and 155lbs..

I am considering doing the Juicing Diet for a short period of time but using a
Nutribullet instead which will leave the pulp/fiber in the drink.

I love to drink my meals and think I could stick to this if I lose weight doing it..

Has anyone else lost weight this way??
How did you ease back into normal food ??
Did you add protein powder into the smoothies??
Kelly, what would you say to the following...?

The best solution to "Overweight"?...exercise along with changes in lifestyle and diet!

There are hundreds if not thousands of lose-weight-quick programs floating around cyberspace. What most assuredly works for people from nations having a less sedentary lifestyle is not merely diet but also a more physically demanding way of living day to day. And they don't eat a lot of fast foods either. They like to prepare and cook their food themselves.

So go figure...it is easier said than done for those of us who just can't make it out of the office in time to enjoy a home-cooked meal with the entire family. Let me ask you, when was the last time you sat down to an evening meal with your spouse and children, or the family?

This used to be the highlight of every family's day. Times have changed and it is no longer traditional to sit down together for dinner as a family every day of the week. It's no big secret that for the average Chinese or Asian person living in their own country...keeping slim and trim is in fact effortless! We as Americans have grown accustomed to making life super comfortable and less physically demanding. Hence, we have become an obesity-ridden society. S.A.D. but true.

If you are looking for a quick fix, there really is none unless you opt for a pill to melt the fat away. The jury hasn't come back to us on this type of remedy though and there are experts on both sides of the coin re: pills which melt the fat away. Has anyone tried pills? Does it work?

I am fairly well read on the facts about health & nutrition, prefer healthy foods,
enjoy cooking and try to walk about 4 - 5 times per week...

So "exercise along with diet changes" is like telling a smoker to just stop...
It's true but a plan to tackle the temptations is helpful..

My family used to sit down to a home cooked meal every night.. I don't understand why
parents that complain about a lack of family time don't do this..Such a perfect time to find out what is
going on in your busy teens lives & they are always hungry so you have the perfect way to lure them

I am a widow & single so eating out is a big part of my social life..
I have to have a plan on how to eat out with good choices..
