Another report:

Oh, ps, that one chicken thigh comes with aspargus and a salad...but I had more than the one that day...darn BBQ salt was tooo gooooood!

So...to my surprise..the last time I weighted myself was Sept 25....
I weighted myself this morning, Oct 5, because my tummy felt flatter, I just
generally feel smaller....I am now officially 21.2 pounds less.
I have changed my whole attitude about food apparently.
ALSO, about the good feeling of being lean or sometimes even a touch hungry.

Compared to the feeling of fullness?
I will take a tad hungry any day!!!

Now that is a change in attitude.

Btw, I don't want to lose more...didn't plan to lose more than 16, really.

I had a couple bites of white bread at a restaurant and a couple multi-grain crackers
with my turkey slices. And some beers in the last few weeks.

But, the day of a platter of pasta is in the past....or a bag of Cheetos at 9 pm....no more.
That craving is gone!
Haha!

I always try to lose a few more pounds than my goal weight, because you will regain a few when you start maintenance. I'm down 15 now. 5 more to GW.

laid around too long recovering...then continued being 'lazy'
even after recovery! Geeze, so stupid.

I went on a very low calorie diet, period. It took 2 weeks for my stomach not to want more.
I didn't care...I would have more steamed organic vegetables, then, or a great
simple salad with no oil.
(Soy sauce, lemon, fresh basil, etc...to satisfy any imaginary craving.)

Now what I am doing to keep it off is not have 'delicious' food.

It's working great...I mean I have org eggs, chicken, meat, wild salmon,
veggies, salad....but
no sauces, extra spices, ketchup, chutneys, salty chips...
just simple salt and pepper, tamari...nothing fancy.

So my attitude has changed about food in the last 2 months...my mind doesn't
go, "Can't wait to go out or Can't wait for supper, oh boy!"
I just eat simply.

It took me awhile...but I am now in the groove and can't stand a heavy feeling in my tummy...thus...no more cheeses, pasta, bread...you know the carbs and
melted cheese dishes!
I look and feel great...energy has doubled...and I'm wearing my tight jeans.

If this encourages anyone, great..
In Essence you are now eating to live rather than living to eat.
Congratulations on your success.
