So I've been crunching almost daily, nothing outrageous. I have reduced my tummy waistline 4 inches (it was a 6 month of mix diet and exercise).

However, I noticed now the scar of my flabs -- I have ugly flab lines. The flab lines don't align with what appears to be the muscle groups.

Are these going away as I get my abs ripped going forward?

I hope to not make people vomit but I feel the need to illustrate my almost 15 year flab lines.

Crunches alone will not rip your abs, as we have posted repeatedly. In fact crunches are one of the least effective of all exercises designed to work your abs. If you want ripped abs you need to have a very low body fat, so diet is the key to ripped abs. Along with diet you need to do a host of core/ab exercises.

I was putting lotion to the flab lines and I think it's helping a bit loosen the skin. Then add to that the crunches and diet to melt away the flabs. I started in the gym Jan 1, 2016 and have been going for 3x a week ever since. I am a work in progress but I do hope to see a better healthier body as the months progress.

That's some good lotion.

As your body fat % continues to get lower the lines will lessen. If you had a completely visible six pack, there would be so little fat there that the lines would no longer show.
