So, I started a fitness boot camp yesterday, and along with the camp, comes a meal plan. For the first two weeks, this is our plan:
Meal Plan Phase 1ā (first 2 weeks) every 2.5 ā 3 hours I should be eating/drinking one of these meals
Probiotic ā first thing in the morning with a apple or banana
Breakfast ā 3 egg whites and 2 strips of bacon (turkey or pork)
Snack ā Protein Shake
Lunch ā 3 servings of COOKED greens (Vegetable must be green) and (1) fist size portion of any meat
Snack ā Protein Shake
Dinner - 3 servings of COOKED greens (Vegetable must be green) and (1) fist size portion of any meat
Snack ā Protein Shake (only if feeling hungry)
So yesterday, I got ALMOST three servings of green beans in at lunch, and was able to get in three servings of brussel sprouts at dinner, but could hardly finish the entire meal.
Today, I seriously woke up feeling FULL. Like....even the thought of eating makes me want to hurl. I made it through my morning food servings (it took me about 2 hours), but am DREADING lunch, because, I already know it's not going to happen.
Have any of you been on a similar plan, and HOW did you survive eating this much???? I love veggies...of all kinds and colors, but this is going to be SO HARD for me! I mean, I'm only at the start of day two, and I'm craving carrots and yellow squash! (Probably just because they're forbidden, lol)
- drop the probiotic (they don't really do much) and fruit in the morning.
- combine lunch and dinner, have one of your protein shakes at lunch if you feel hungry.

Combine lunch and dinner? Or - instead of eating that meal twice a day, do it once and replace lunch with the shake? Right?

Yeah....I talked to the instructor about it. He ended up having to clarify with EVERYONE...that he meant 3 cups for the entire day. MUCH better!!! I'm doing great with the food....but the probiotic....yuck.
You're very welcome. What probiotic are you taking?
I WAS taking the Vitamin Shoppe brand...I think was something like Ultimate 10 (13 billion) or something like that. BUT....it was causing me to be nauseous ALLLLLL the time, which made it very difficult for me to eat (the last thing I need).
So I switched to Trubiotic a few days ago, and have had no issues at all since.
Yeah quality counts a lot when it comes to those things. HealthForce as a great probiotic called Friendly Force, you could experiment with that one of the new one ever causes you problems.

So I found out!! Lol
Thanks a million for your help! I may bug you later as I go through this whole "new way of eating" process. I'm looking forward to forming new habits, but I'm also getting a little freaked. Lol
