I did 4 exercises in my living room last night that caused me to sweat pretty quick.
10 push ups
10 jumping jacks
20 knee thigh raises (10 per leg)
30 second plank
30 second rest and then repeat
I did about 8 sets of this and I was done. Probably took me 25-30 minutes and I had a good sweat going on. Using your body weight to tone and build muscle is not a bad thing. It's just easy to avoid, because you're doing it from the comfort of your own home.
Wow! I just wanted to take a break from the other forums I post on/follow, and and surprised at how unsupportive, mean, and "judgy" some of you are!! The point of these OPEN FORUMS is for people to share advice/ideas/experience to help each other...YMMV. Your advice may be "bad" for someone and great for someone else.
As far as retro goes, I live around a few ex-military old school guys that maintain their older great shape bodies doing push ups, pull ups, sit ups, and running/walking. Simple, free, and it WORKS FOR THEM!
If your opinion was the only way that works, believe me, none of us would be on here - we would be too busy following you to the end of the earth!!
It's pretty common knowledge that situps do not burn belly fat and that you cannot target a specific area to spot reduce.
