Another month has passed (March 13 to September 13). Weight loss is around 53 pounds. Still doing the no-sugar and no-processed-food thing, and I recently started with a personal trainer to do strength training.
Another month has passed (March 13 to September 13). Weight loss is around 53 pounds. Still doing the no-sugar and no-processed-food thing, and I recently started with a personal trainer to do strength training.
My big secret is to keep all the "crap" foods out of the house! I have no will power -- if it's in the house, I will eat it..and sometimes even binge on it. Especially sugary things or salty things like chips.
Out of the house, out of the mind...now I only keep healthy whole food snacks around -- munch on carrots and celery, sometimes grapes or a cut up apple when I feel a nervous eating pattern emerging.
It works fine. Just had to stop fooling myself that I could exercise control over the junk foods -- I cannot! Be gone!!
