OP, you're doing something that's working for you. You seem to be eating foods you enjoy and you're feeling good. You've found a source of support that fills the need. IMO just keep doing what you're doing!

At some point you may hit a plateau. I don't know anyone who hasn't regardless of their plan. When/if that happens you may need to tweak what you're doing but until then, you seem to be doing great!

Congrats on the 50!!

I'm trying the low carb diet. I have lost 10 pounds the first week, so that's encouraging. I'm keeping my carbs to no more than 60 a day. but next week with better food I will probably keep it lower. I can live with this amount. then in a few months I will see if I can eat a piece of fruit a couple times a week and I will see if that does not harm my progress. you can check the internet for any kind of way of eating you want to do. I'm sorta following your way of eating too and its working well. I pay attention to how I feel and when I am truly hungry, I eat something like nuts or meat.

its hard when I spy snacks on people's desk here. such shiny pretty candy wrappers calling out to me to eat it. today they passed out a staff appreciation donut and I gave it to my co-worker, so that was kind of hard, but I did it. so that is good.

keep up the good work!

I am religious on posting to My Fitness Pal.

You have to start just being honest with yourself.

Yes, I include that squirt of Reddi Whip I had yesterday.
