Good rule of thumb! I have so many different sizes of clothes just waiting for their turn to be worn again that it's not even funny. There are some I hope I will never be wearing again!

I'm forty pounds lighter than my initial goal weight of 230 lbs last year. Everyone said I looked great at 230 lbs and started complaining that I looked "too thin" when I passed 200 lbs. I learned to ignore them and even asked my wife to stop making those sort of comments because it bothered me. I could still stand to lose another 10 pounds to eliminate noticeable love handles but I feel/look good at 190 lbs and intend to stick here (I've been maintaining since last July).

Ignore people, listen to your inside voice. Only those people who haven't figured out how to lose the extra weight think anyone is too thin (literally no "thin" person ever opined that I was too thin, none).

Yeah, it seems only the "plump and softig" seem to find me on the thin side!

But for anyone who doubts you can alter your body shape, take a look at what actor Christian Bale did for two movies. In one, he has to look like a holocaust survivor and 6 months later had to start on one of the Batman movies. For the first movie, he starved himself eating nothing but an apple and a can of tuna everyday for 6 months. To get back into shape for Batman, a diet of hamburgers and ice cream. I don't think I'll have to do anything as dramatic to drop more weight!
