Anyone tried this? Comments.

PS - Already read the on-line reviews which some of them are not from users but critics of it.

Lost around 30 in a year; about 30 to go to my dream weight but 20 would put me where I was in 2005 and prior.

I tried it 2 years ago. I did lose weight quick but you have to buy their food and that is around $450 a month. I did not like consuming that much processed food. They have lots of bars, some reminded me of rice krispie treats. I think you had to eat 2-3 of their products a day. Some were shakes or soups. Some tasted okay and others were nasty.

You can do your own Ideal Protein diet....an MD on the radio here sells it in his office but many can't afford it...do your own. Carbs are a big no no...

I did no carbs and as I fluctuated up and down with "being good", i started kinda abusing proteins, eating them exclusively. I would eat lots of chicken, some roast beef, lotsa hamburger, tofu, an occasional flounder or sole or cod, very limited veggies and absolutely not one gram of sugar, bread, pasta, rice or potato.

This is just a quick be aware that if you eat way too much protein, your kidneys won't be able to process it, nitrates will build up in your blood, your urine will give off the first warning signals, and if you weren't being monitored as closely as I was, you could do serious damage to your kidneys.

So please, if you want to do a protein diet, make sure you are hooked up with your doctor and he/she keeps tabs on you every two weeks.

I think that lean protein, non fat milk and milk products, a bit of healthy fat, and tons of fruits and veggies, much of it green, is the way to go and you don't have to buy any special products. Basically cut out anything other than milk or yogurt that's white.

That's a myth.

If you've swapped your regular meals for Ideal Protein eats, we don’t blame you. DietsinReview.com ranked the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Method the most popular diet, and #IdealProtein before-and-afters on Instagram are impressive.
Intriguing, right? When you hop on the Ideal Protein train, you’ll visit a local clinic to enroll in the four-phase program. That’s when you'll meet with a weight-loss coach who will determine the right number of pounds for you to lose and educate you on the Ideal Protein way. Then, you’ll take home pre-packaged meals to eat during phase one of the diet.
