To reduce levels of inflammation, aim for an overall healthy diet. If you’re looking for an eating plan that closely follows the tenets of anti-inflammatory eating, consider the Mediterranean diet, which is high in fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grains, fish, and healthy oils.

In addition lowering inflammation, a more natural, less processed diet can have noticeable effects on your physical and emotional health. “A healthy diet is beneficial not only for reducing the risk of chronic diseases, but also for improving mood and overall quality of life,” Dr. Hu * says.

Seriously?

GARLIC. If you can stomach it, of course. Not everyone can. Garlic and white raw onion.

Lard is not known to cause inflammation in the body. It has no trans fats and is higher in monounsaturated fat than butter.

That has always been my diet. I don't do fast foods at all.
I love garlic and onion and cook with them all the time. I also like raw red onion.

Tart cherry juice is said to reduce inflammation.

Yeah, but how much do you have to drink to actually get that anti-inflammatory effect??

It's like blueberries... just how many pints to you have to eat to get that anti-occident effect.

I avoid those 6 foods at the bottom now, completely. I never drank soda and did not eat fast food much, but I still did the FF occasionally. I was eating processed foods like breads and pasta and am now off of it entirely.

Awful stuff.

I can say for sure - are these tests that can identify chronic or acute inflammation?

I think I have probably had inflammation in my body constantly as the result of foods I was eating.

I think it takes several months to fix once your system is screwed up.

Funny; I've been doing the Anti-Inflammatory Protocol (AIP) diet, and tomatoes and nuts are expressly forbidden.

I have not read about the AIP diet, but it might be too draconian.
