Instead of 1 big change start with 3 small changes...
Park in the back of parking lots to get in the extra steps
if you're going up 5 stories or less take the stairs and skip elevators
eat what you normally do but always leave something on the plate
Then step it up again
Only drink water
change eating habits to healthy items
iirc, it's now recommended to have 10 servings of fruits and vegetables per day (UK) up from 5.
Juicing can help people get this if they want more servings.
Both sides of the coin.
Juicing is a great way to get more nutrients but did you know the pulp that a juicer sifts out to be discarded is 90% fiber, which is the very reason we are supposed to be eating more veggies and fruits.
Juicing some apples and carrots and kale and parsley is a splendiferous drink to behold.

Start really working out...
baby steps, then just keep walking......
one foot in front of the other.
LET NOTHING DISTRACT YOU
A good first step is to picture a healthy plate. One half of the plate is for fruits and vegetables, and the other half is for proteins and healthy carb.
Whats your opinion?
Eat less, move more. <--Easiest way to lose weight.
Fruits---too much sugar in fruits. Your body doesn't know the difference between good sugar and bad sugar.

For me half the plate has low carb veggies cooked in fat. The other half has protein (prefereably fatty). No grains. No fruits. No starchy veggies.
A standing ovation to you. Yes, everything you've stated is on target.
I think most people want very much so to eat healthy, but there is so much conflicting information
and few take the time to investigate the informtion "outside the lines".

Yes, you're right. The best way to lose weight is to analyze what you're doing as far as diet and exercise--and do the opposite.
Seems so simplistic, but it's what works.
I know many (myself included) want to keep doing what is in our comfort zone and still manage to lose weight. Doesn't work that way, though. Got to make modifications.
But telling a Big Mac or Big Steak advocate, or a wings-crazed eater or a pizza-head, or daily six-pack drinker to become vegan or vegetarian or alcohol-free just isn't going to work--ever.
Maybe the first step could be--what am I willing to change--and what am I unwilling to change--and start from there.
Diets don't work.
It's gotta be a new way of eating -- for life...
No change= no weight loss.
My one diet tip that works--for me. Start lunch and dinner with a big salad, mostly greens, with a low-fat, home-made dressing. A great appetite killer that works and is healthy, low cal.
