I have been doing my best to take my vitamins and eat better. I got a killer deal on a bottle of fish oil pills. I have a lot of joint pain for my age so I bought it to help before I need to start taking MSM, etc.
I took my first Fish Oil this morning. This is NASTY, I'm burping ever min or so and it is the nastiest fishy gross taste!!! YUK. I'm not taking anymore pill fish oil. I have seen some chewable.
I'm sitting at working feeling like i'm going to ***. How long is this going to last? Is it normal? Would it go away faster if I just stuck my finger down my throat?
Great deal doesnt work with fish oil.I know what you are talking about & thats the cheaper pills. Just throw them out and next time get a pharm grade kind. They dont stink. The only way you are going to get it out is start eating dark green stuff and water. Throwing up is only going to make it worse and leave it in your mouth.
You can take flaxseed oil instead. Not all sushi has fish in it. Here is a list of fish thats good for what you want:
I take these as a fish supplement. A 3 month supply for just over 20.00. They come in different flavors, although orange is my favorite. I put them in the fridge,take one a day and they actually taste pretty good. I also take flaxseed daily as someone else recommended. Good luck!

I think I'm going to stay away from the fish oil for a while. I dont think I could take that again. The burping lasted for 6hrs!!! I did take it with food. YUK
I had the same problems with fish oil. then, I found some that are coated!!! these are working out great. no nasty after taste and burping. they were a little more expensive. I bought them at a health food store.
