Not sure about weight loss, besides craving more high fat foods, but I've heard it more with chronic heavy stress...such as from my neighbor who is an air traffic controller. From talking with her it's more of a stress to the cardiovascular system.

The adrenal glands are 2 small glands that sit on top of your kidneys and produce some of your body's hormones. One of these is adrenaline. When our bodies are in a lot of or even constant stress, they get overworked and don't function as well as they should. Therefore, the term Adrenal Fatigue. They also help with blood sugar regulation and mineral balance as well as other bodily functions. Im not sure of the weight loss connection but im sure in some roundabout way there is.
