I have lost 10 pounds on Weight Watchers Core diet but the scales quit moving and I have 10 more pounds to lose. I am pretty excited about
trying South Beach. I loaded up on veggies today.

Question..
If I cut up raw veggie , how long will they stay good in the frig?? It is easier to cut up a batch at one time than do that every time I want some.

Certain veggies can be kept crisp and ready to go. I wash and cut up celery, carrots, and radishes in a covered container of water. The water keeps them from turning brown and nice and crisp.

I will wash and spin dry lettuce and wrap in a damp paper towel and put into a baggie. That seems to work.

As for veggies like broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, mushrooms and squash I cut and wash as needed. They seem to turn brown quickly.

Good luck on your diet. I have lost 18 pounds in 11 weeks just by counting calories but every once in a while you need a change to continue losing. I like to use this plan once every couple of weeks when I feel like I'm stuck. It seems to work. It's called the Kathy Smith 5 Day Jump start Diet and is well balanced.

Good luck to you.
