Weight lifting may also naturally curb your appetite! At least it does for me. And walking, well, it seems to make me hungry. Is it in my head???
i'm the exact opposite, lol. when i get done with a workout, i'm completely ravenous. but cardio, especially during the summer, makes me sick just thinking about food.
I lost over twenty Ibs and now I have gained all that weight back. I want to lose as much weight as possible this summer. I am going for 40 to 60Ibs. Chances are that is not possible. But you never know.

Well, the best way to lose weight is slowly. If you lose the weight too fast you are more likely to gain it back. Be patient, eat healthy and take it a day at a time. Good luck!

see that doesn't work, it took me nine months to lose twenty pounds AND I gained it back in just three months. I reduced what I was eating and yes it was healthy. I worked out every day and nothing. I couldn't lose weight. I am thinking that if I bike a lot and reduce how much I eat in a day, than I could loose a lot of weight. And that is the best way to go.
Mexi - Well, that's what I hear the experts say! Sorry it doesn't work for you. It's definitely hard b'c you want to see the results. At any rate, whatever you think is working, stick to it. Just realize (and I didn't know this until recently) that after a while, your body actually starts adjusting and it will get harder for you to lose weight. I haven't hit that road yet but when I do, I'm going to a personal trainer!
I do at least 30- 45 minutes on the treadmill every morning.while watching the news (sometimes I get so mad at what I'm watching I go faster lol)..walk my dog 2 miles in the evening. Exercise is the only thing that keeps it off for me now that I'm in in my late 30's. I eat just about anything I want because of the exercise...but I do stay away from sugar.
Roma - ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can totally surf the Internet all day w/o eating but here's the rub: you're on your butt all day doing nothing but typing and staring at a screen!
Roma & Foma - You could use more muscles sitting on an exercise ball. Rocking to and fro from time to time, if you know what I mean. So far, typing all day has helped me stay away from food. But now I really got to get moving with the work stuff.

I never saw are names together like that: foma & roma. Funny!
Anyway ... I'd love to do freestyle type strength exercises but I'm always self-conscious at the gym so I stick to the machines. I feel like ppl are thinking, "What's that fat girl doing on the exercise ball - like she knows what she's doing," if I were to try it out! I know it's stupid but it's hard not to get all self-conscious when you see fit people at the gym!
