So since Sydney is king of the house, he sleeps in bed with us. When we first get in bed, he always needs his cuddle time. He'll press his face into my neck or side of my face and then flop his body across mine to get belly rubs. He loves licking ears and necks too. Just curious if anyone else's pups did this..I've had dogs my whole life and never seen one with such a fascination for ears and necks like Sydney's. It leaves me hysterically laughing though because I'm so ticklish.
My Bella would pretty much give you a bath if she was allowed to. Buster on the other hand is very picky on who he licks and when he licks them. If I try to get kisses from him he'll turn his head up at me.
Dylan loves to bury his head in the crook of my neck. If I'm sitting on the floor, he will first try and climb into by lap....all 75 lbs of him...he then lays his head on my shoulder and then starts borrowing into my neck. What is really strange, his Mom and GrandFather did the exact same thing to me!
Darcy does sleep on our bed, but only at the foot (her choice). Sometime during the night, she gets up and goes downstairs and sleeps on her bed in the family room. Her cuddling is usually in the family room, where she wants to sit on our laps. She rarely gives kisses, but she does follow us everywhere we go. I think because she has been in so many shelters and homes that she is not sure. Next week we will be lucky enough to celebrate her first birthday with us (she's about 7).

Our Gator is a very funny boy. He won't lick you -ever. What he does is what we call his sonic sniff (sniff you over your whole face & neck). Thats how he to shows his affection. Gator sniffs are the equivalent of doggie kisses and I love 'em just the same!

Kinda makes me sad sometimes. I have one that is such a diva he gives kisses when he wants to and the other will give you a bath all day everyday if she were allowed to lol
