I don't know what's gotten into them, but the dogs here have been out of control today. It's usually pretty chaotic with all of them - although we are down to 14 in the house - but today they've been way over board!

I woke up with them at 1:30 this morning dying to go outside. Figured someone needed to potty so out we went. As soon as the door opened Rex started barking like he was on the trail of something. Nothing I did would shut him up. Thank God the closest neighbors are a drive away.

Then they get up at 6:30 dying to go out again. And this time Rex starts the barking and they all join in and I can't get them to stop. I had to bring them all right back in and wait until they calmed down to open the door. They ran out, barking started right back up.

Finally get them in and settled and start the day. The boys have spent all day peeing on everything they can. I go to clean one mess and turn around to find two more.

All day they've barked non stop, indoors and out. Their playing is over the top to the point I have to stop them. I was in the computer room and hear a crash from the bathroom. Go in to find two of them decided the tub is a wonderful playground. They knocked down shampoo and conditioner and then ran through it and all over the tile floors, tracking it along.

They've been into the garbage - and it was a new garbage can with a tighter lid in the hopes of keeping them out. They decided to chew on the corners of the new shoe bench I just bought last night. They've ripped open and de-stuffed toys and chewed up their blankets and beds.

And as I'm dealing with all this mess, I have a water line break in the kitchen and flood the floors. What in the world is going on tonight??

Default Just looked at my calendar

YOU HAVE IT RIGHT - Sunday Nov 21 is FULL MOON. I'm laughing.

My husband and I love dogs but the most that we ever had at one time was 4.

I grew up in the country and remember my Dad saying that one of their dogs howled all night - the night someone died. Only time the dog did that.

Kiss

My cat, Mickey, was an usually loving cat, always purring, and loved being held. One day, he was not purring as usual, and did not want to be held, he wandered around the house, making this loud meow, not usual for him at all. I wondered what was wrong with him...and just did my stuff around the house. And later that day....earthquake. So, whenever Mickey was not his normal self, I just double checked to make sure I was ready for a quake.

Animals know so much more than us humans.

It's not only a full moon, but yahoo news said it was an unusual blue moon. ?? I didn't read it yet. It was late.

The little devilsmust be a full moon. My big guy bugged the daylights last nite ran to the door every 15 minutes doing the happy dance so thinking he needed to make an emergency potty run which by the way I am only too happy to oblige. Took him out and he runs around like a crazy man and nothing, nada, zilch back in we go 15 min. later the same routine. I was like he was possesed.

My dog, Mickey, is going a little "mental" too. It is a full moon. Blue moon too. Good luck with your pups. Oh, the things we parents have to put up with, huhn?
