This is really a tough disease to deal with, Day 7 and still feeding by hand carrying outside etc.
Hopefully it won't go full term three weeks for recovery.
He is making baby steps finally but you can tell he is still crazy dizzy spins to the left etc. but he is finally catching himself before falling over.
Yesterday afternoon we put him out on the back porch while we went out for dinner. We arrived home and found him inside. Somehow he crawled spun and found his way to the doggy door and came on inside, pretty determined old guy.
He is taking his med's daily so hopefully they cure what ails him.
His sister a yellow lab mix just walks over him seems to have no concern her brother is sick. Have to put her out when feeding him as she will get pushy and try to get his food as I am feeding him.

Aw, poor old boy. What meds is he on? Hope he's feeling better soon. Glad he was able to get himself inside.

Look at all the extra work and care he needs as opportunities for special bonding time. Our senior pets do take a lot of time and work and worry, don't they. I can be exhausting, and a real roller coaster of ups and downs. I guess it's our way of paying them back for a lifetime of unconditional love.

All paws crossed for him!

Hi watch your dogs poop. Deramaxx is notorious for causing gastric bleeding. Only took two, days for my GSD.
