Oh and your female looks just like my first dog, my Chocolate Lab! He was an awesome dog!
Really I think someone was doing her a favor by abandoning her. She had already been bitten up by a larger dog, had mange and other things. I think someone knew what was going to happen to her (it is not too much of a stretch to consider she might have been intended as a bait dog in that part of town ). Sometimes people are afraid to approach the shelters/pounds, so they just drop them off in an industrial area.

Yeah, she's got the chocolate color (with white markings), but that's about it - she's really a terrier, especially in personality !

As I said in another post, your baby is absolutely adorable! I love this picture! Too cute!
Sorry for the late reply. She's mixed breed. Her father was indeed a Schnauzer but Standard, not Mini. Her mother is the cutest mutt I've ever seen.

Talking This thread make me smile

This thread makes me smile every single time I come back to it.

It is so absolutely heartwarming to know that there are so many wonderful pet babies in great, loving homes.

I tried to give out some rep points, but it says I have to spread it around first.

Let me see all of your doggies as well!!!
your doggie looks very similar to mine.
I will post pics of him shortly! ...we think ours is a aussie/border collie/ shelite mix. But some have said he has pappilon(sp) in him.
We love him

I started writting another post and just decided to combine the two.
