We had one male Basenji that tested it, especially out first system that gave a warning tone prior to getting 'corrected'. He learned very quickly he could sit and listen to the beep ALL DAY until it went away, then test the line. We saw him out a bit farther than he should be, tested the collar and the battery was dead.

We finally figured out what he was doing when we were going through batteries, then we switched to a no tone collar- immediate correction collar. That solved that.
We have had literally zero issues with our fence, sans the occasional break in the line.

I was concerned with the GSP's as their prey drive is MUCH more intense than a Basenji. But no problems there either.
