Dog Trapped in Storm Drain Freed After 4 Days (vet, year, animals)

Did y'all read about the dalmation that was trapped in a storm drain that finally got freed? It's a heart touching story in the news and you can see videos on You Tube. The dog is a 17 year old dalmation that crawled in a storm drain to cool down and got trapped 20 feet underground. The owner did not give up and got a backho to dig the dog out. They finally freed him and the dog went to the vet in a stretcher. He is doing fine and the owner says always, always cap your storm drains so animals can't get in.
