My dog Sister is 11 years old and has the sweetest personality (very calm and friendly to everyone). I've had her since she was a sweet puppy, but I've never known for sure what breed(s) she is. What breed(s) do you think she is? Please help!

Besides a yellow lab or yellow lab mix? I'd go with really freakin' adorable and a wonderful addition to your family!

Enjoy!!!

Could be some lab in her but my first impression was she's got some hound in her. Maybe some St Bernard? Something about the head, the sad eyes and droopy ears reminds me of St Bernards.

Golden retriever, mixed w/ yellow lab. She sure looks sweet, makes me miss my 16+ boxer, that passed 3 yrs ago. Enjoy and love her while you have her. I love old dogs.

i would put MONEY that shes either a pure bred golden (not a dog bred for the show ring obviously) or a golden x lab mix
she looks like MANY of the senior golden retrivers ive met in my life

shes beautiful!

Thank you all for your kind words! She's certainly the best dog I've ever had, and I treasure her.

Some people say that they see half Golden Retriever and half Burmese Mountain Dog in her (especially in her face), what do you think about that?

It's very interesting to hear your perspectives. Please keep the thoughts/comments coming as to what breed(s) she is!

She could be. The droopy way her ears hang, and the droopy lips are the main things that aren't golden-y about her. They did make me think of St Bernard a little. But as foxy said, she could be a golden that's just not to the breed standard. Anyway, she looks very sweet.

I don't see why that couldn't be a full-blood golden. I would actually be a little surprised to learn otherwise.
