My beagle basset sat up and was frozen, staring direclty at my computer monitor, ears perked, turning his head side to side.

He definitely got Artie's message!

Spanky got Artie's message and chimed in...ha, ha, ha. Diesel, just laid there and let Spanky take care of business.

They are usually quiet for the mail delivery...but brown (UPS) is a completely different story!!! They know that truck.

My parents had a dog Taffy that went crazy when the mailperson came and she waited for it everyday and got so anxious when the truck pulled in to the neighborhood. She acted like she wanted to kill the poor mail person well to make it even more interesting the mailperson was a lady that lived two blocks over . If she was out walking and Taffy was out Taffy loved saying hello to her and they were friends but if she approached the house as the mail lady Taffy was a different dog

as for UPS Jazz and Dash use to love to see that big brown truck as the driver had dog treats and even if we were out walking and he saw us he would stop and toss them a treat. They actually approached the mailman once and stood looking at him with with that " well where is it look?" He commented and I said They are expecting a treat like the UPS guy gives them as they think that is what USPS and UPS, Fed EX people deliver!

I played Artie-farty at full volume and didn't get as much as an opened eye from the snoozing Nanners.

Maybe we can get all the dogs together, hire a mail truck and a UPS truck, and the pups can start a band.

Funny, because when I played it a bunch of times after recording, Artie himself was sleeping on the futon six feet away from me, and didn't flinch either. Just went on sleeping like this is normal behavior.
