Cani Corso look like gorgeous dogs. Do they drool as much as I think they do ?
Thanks! They are very majestic looking I think.
Cani Corso do (should) not drool. Spanish Alano and Cani Corso are 2 of the few molossers that do not drool. They shouldn't be lippy or have big wrinkles. There are some others that only drool a little bit and some that are extremely bad-ick.
She is a Cani Corso, although APBT also come in Blue.
If she were a Wiem I'd certainly not get her ears done. Most of my Pits have had natural ears. Crop is more fitting for the breed though.
Her name is Samara though, so that is where that part comes from. I just kind of through the name together last night.
Ohh! She's a Cani Corso? I didn't know they came in blue. I don't know much about Cani Corsos, I have a good friend that owns one, but his is brindle. I know APBTs come in blue and because your name is APBT_Samara I just assumed that she was an APBT pup! How big do Cani Corsos get? My husband absolutely loves them!
What a sweet girl. Post some photos of her as she grows. I am now going to hunt down some pictures of the breed, I have never heard of them before.
My Mastiffs drool all the time.

Yeah they also come in also black, tri color (fault) , fawn, red, formentino I have seen a very diluted one that looked almost white. I wanted a brindle one, a dark or black brindle. So bad!!! She was the most alert and best looking one though. Ideally males max weight should be 110lbs. I've seen some pretty big ones, some people believe "bigger is better" and ruin breeds.
Her sire is 120lbs but not overdone in the least. Here is his sire (grandsire) Champion Noe CGC (http://www.kennelbyonics.com/kennelbyonicsnoe.htm - broken link) and then in turn his sire (great grandsire) Vintage Acres Cane Corsos Here is her dam's sire (other grandsire) Gladiator Cane Corso Kennels; (broken link) they are all imports.
MotleyCrew they are an Italian Breed. They were used as Guardians and Cattle Drovers.

What a gorgeous breed! My husband loves big, powerful, almost regal looking breeds like Cane Corsos, Mastiffs, etc. I have to show him these pictures when he gets back from walking the dogs. I'll post a picture of my friends dog in a minute. He has it on his myspace page, so I'll have to go save it to my computer so I can post it.
Here's his dog. I think she's still pretty young, I know it's not a good picture, but you can see her color.
