This is exactly what I was thinking.
Why is it so hard for people to believe in second chances working out?
Clearly, if people are approved for this program and allowed subsidized housing, they have shown both a willingness and a capability to make a fresh start...not every homeless person out there is a drug addict, schizophrenic, alcoholic, violent mess. That's the generalization most people make, because it's the picture being painted.
And PETA? Please...don't even get me started
