The Golden is still a puppy as she is only 10 months and being she and my friend were visiting for a few days we took her to a free concert that evening down at a park long the beach not sure what she would do well she slept, she was out cold despite the fact there were hundreds of people, many dogs. lots of food and loud music! It is so true a tired dog is a good dog!

Silkens are great as they are more social and biddable then most sighthounds. Dazzle is my #1 cuddle bug as he LOVES to cuddle. I am so glad I decided to get him as he is just such an easy pleasant dog to have around and smart as all my herding dogs have been. He really is great.

If anyone looking at these photos is thinking "Oh sure she is one of those people that lets her dogs run leash free on the beach and god knows where else...please rest assured that this is a beach that allows dogs on it (as many do not) and if one goes to the right it is dogs on leash if one goes to the left it is leash free dogs. This is one thing I love about living here and would miss so much if I ever were to move away. I have several leash free dog parks, a leash free wilderness area on the cliffs above this beach and this beautiful leash free beach to let my dogs run and play and just be dogs. For a dog lover and her dogs this is paradise. But it did take a huge battle to get these leash free areas and the hard work of a group of dog owners called Dog PAC. If not in these areas my dogs are kept on leash as I respect the right of others and the safety of my dogs.

Ha this crazy pup thinks she can catch me.... she does not know Mr. Speedy Rocket dog!

WOW amazing photography and what a great time they're having! SO cool.

I love that dogs can be on the beach there. We have some off leash beaches too but I tried it once and Nora ran so fast I thought she was going to be gone forever, it was my nightmare. Couldn't catch up with her and she got smaller, smaller, smaller...UGH. Finally she stopped to smell a dead fish.
