I do. I end up all wet anyway when I bathe them in the utility sink so I might as well get them in the shower. I have a hand held spray and a bench where I can lift them so I don't have to bend down.

Only bad part is trying to dry them off when we get out. I can't contain them and they run around the house shaking and dripping. But hey it's an adventure.

Wish I could train them like this little fellow:

I just googled "dogs in the shower" and you would not believe all the products for washing a dog in the shower. Also apparently people throw Puppy Showers for new dogs like they do Baby Shower. Now that is a bit too much IMO.

Artie got his monthly shower this morning. I do it in the big shower stall in the laundry room / bathroom. He *tolerates* the shower, but wants out ASAP. As for the towel-drying afterwards, I close the door before we even get started so at least, after we get out of the shower, I can do SOME sort of drying before I let him out to do zoomies all over the house.

I don't, but my husband does, haha. It's really funny because it's the walk-in glass shower, and one time I walked in and saw the dog in the corner of the shower, looking dejected and betrayed (soaking wet but not sudsy) and my husband singing away with soap in his hair. It made me bust up laughing. After he was done showering then he bathed the dog.

Yeah, sometimes. Maybe twice. Easier to wash them that way sometimes.

When my dog was a puppy I would put him in the shower with me. I figured I was going to get wet anyway. I always washed the dog first, put the dog out of the shower and did my shower.

Now he is just too big, he got out one time and ran all over the house, wet and soapy. Now he gets leashed to the fence and a hose.

No. I get into the shower when HE gets a bath though... have a stand up shower with hose.

TIP I learned: When they start to shake the wetness off, cup your hand over their nose and they will stop

It's the hose out doors for my dogs...the only time they get a bath is if they've been in something nasty...so they are not welcome in the house until they are clean.
