yes this story about the abandoned dog in the mts is kinda old. Ellen had all the rescuers on her show and North Face gave each person over $5,000 worth of equipment and I swear those guys(and one woman) cried like babies. The poor guy who left the dog there in the first place had death threats and all sorts of trauma. I think one of the rescuers eventually got possession of the dog.
