Now I have Lucy, Rainbow, Houston, and Candy Cane...
But I also have a foster, Nell (yeah down to one, Freckles and Kaykay are adopted!) but I'm getting in a momma and 4 pups that I will have to name...and I'm thinking Christmas names for the upcoming season...or maybe Valentines names because that's more than likely when they will be ready to adopt out...such choices to make.
If you did Valentine names, it would be cute to choose "Conversation Hearts" expressions - Dreamboat (Dreamy), Be Mine (Bea)... I'm sure other folks could think of others
The dogs I got to name I got as puppies- brothers- named them Kiko and Kona. Kona is 12, Kiko died last winter. My others are adoptions who already had and knew their names- Chippy (Chocolate Chip), Ezra, Snoopy (beagle mix, of course) and Dodger. We are awaiting the arrival of Eloise (Weezy) in December.
My dog is Seven. That kind of came from "Lucky Number Seven." He's a boxer/rottie.
My Mom's is Cotton (she looks like a little puff of cotton, too!) She's a shih tzu/poodle.
My little sister's dogs are Casey and Simba. Respectively, a boxer and a mastiff.
My older sister has 2 beagles, Jake and Buddy. They both came from a beagle rescue.
My family's dogs when I was a kid were named: Tickles, Drumstick, and Bronson. All good, loyal dogs, and great with us when we were kids, bless their sweet doggie hearts.
