How do you find a good dog breeder?

I would only choose a breeder who breeds in a manner that strengthens the breed and makes a good effort to respect the breed standard.

Sadly, far too many these days breed to stand out from the crowd and win. Some breeds are being ruined by this.

How about looking at a breeder rescue instead?
