Three months ago, we adopted Marston. At the time he was a four month old, 8 pound terrier mix. Now, he's just shy of fifteen pounds, and today was his first day completely out of the crate! No accidents. We followed his routine, and he's spent all day playing, lounging around, and cuddling. I am so proud of him.
The past three months have been very interesting. Some days, I felt like I was doing everything wrong. But I'm so glad my boyfriend and I worked hard, because it's definitely paying off. He's the best dog ever!
Thank you everyone for your help when I felt overwhelmed and unsure. I am so grateful for your kindness and hope I can do the same for new dog owners in the future.
