Just got this new pup yesterday, he's six months old and all we know is that he is a Labrador-mix. He is about 40lbs, his ears are pointier but also floppy, and his fur has a very slight wave to it. We don't know much about dog breeds so we're having trouble figuring out what he's mixed with!
Can't say I see any pittie in him. My first thought when I looked at his face was Boston Terrier, his ears are a little German Shepherdish. I would guess that he's a few breeds mixed together, he sure is adorable.
Love the ears! They'll probably stand straight up when he's grown. They make you think of German Shepherd, of course. Not sure what else, but what a cutie.
Pit bulls' ears are naturally folded over. That's how I knew people were wrong when they said my dog was a full pit bull on top of her head being narrow and small. A DNA test confirmed that she is part German Shepherd, which would explain both her ears and her head.
I don't see any pit bull, his head looks too narrow. What I do see is a lovely black dog!
