Get yourself a monster vacuum and be prepared to use it daily...you'll be in shock after your Bichons and Maltese. Oh yeah...and never let that dog off leash. No matter how much training you do...gone!
Sibes are good looking dogs. And great entertainers. Although I wouldn't feel too comfy with what was going on in the video. It may have been harmless. Or not.
They are awesome dogs! But, they are stubborn. Training classes would be strongly suggested. Like jumping dogs said, they will run! Do yourself a favor and research the breed. If you do your homework first you will be rewarded with a great dog, if not, it can be a nightmare. Good luck!

They are working dogs and need lots of work. Be prepared to have a much different pet ownership experience. In my opinion, they are extremely beautiful, but don't make the best pets for most people.
The Husky is a beautiful breed. We have an Akita Chow and she is similar - we wouldn't want her to get loose. God help anyone who would steal her - I wouldn't be easy on them. She's absolutely gorgeous. And loyal!
They seem like great dogs but I see Husky after Husky on the Lost and Found pages here, it's amazing how many.
My husky is a great dog...sweet but also stubborn.
I live on 20 acres and he hates being locked up. He will be gone for long periods of time...I used to worry, but after he came home from being out in sub zero temps all night a few years ago I just let him roam.

Too many people get them for their looks and ignore the fact that they are high energy working dogs that can be difficult to train due to the independence bred into them in order to do their jobs. IMO, there are some breeds that are really difficult to live with as pets in the average home and huskies would be on that list.
The need A LOT of exercise and shed like crazy. A little 10 minute walk around the block will not do it for them.
Just sayin.
