My bulldog loved antlers when he was a puppy (and power chewer). Now, at almost two, he chews at them for a few minutes sometimes, but has generally lost interest. He shredded almost anything chewable and the antlers were great, because he couldn't chew them up. A good thing to keep them occupied, is a Kong toy, filled with peanut butter.

Do you give them the bones raw or do you bake/boil them?

The Catahoula doesn't care for them, but the kelpie enjoys them. My elderly border collie thought they were great. They can damage teeth, but I'll take the risk.

Raw bones only.

Never give cooked bones- they can splinter or break, and cause bad things to happen for your dog.

my lab puppy likes hers for a few days, then ignores it. But then finds it again and loves it.
