LOL yes she's just saying she loves me. I got her one year ago at the humane society and she's gotten to be such a nice dog. She helped me get through the worst year of my life and so I rather spoil her when I can

I have two dogs. One is a pug that is ALWAYS on my lap, even now as I sit on the couch with my laptop. He is lying across my lap with his head on my arm...snoring... It makes it hard to type but he is my "baby dog"! I am use to the numbness in my arms and legs! lol
The other dog is the size of a golden retriever. He is a mixed breed but thinks he is a lap dog also. It is cute when they both try to sit on me at the same time.
Enjoy!

Roamin - my very "disciplinarian" husband taught our 50 lb golden to do the same thing. Go figure! And he was the one who said he did not need a lap dog!

Heck, my 5 lb Yorkie will lay across the bed sideways and then growl letting me know I am encroaching on his space. Then there is the weim who weighs 65 plus who has to be laying next to me. I created 4 monsters who all think they have to be right next to me at night in my queen size bed. I get a sliver and no leg room.

Having your dog on your lap is a "problem" like having your kids want you to lay down with them at night. Your head tells you that you are creating a monster, but your heart tells you to soak it up because it will end all too soon - sigh...

I think we're all enjoying cuddling with these 50-pounder lap dogs just as much as they are hogging our space. We just all blame them, since they can't defend themselves!
