This is my dog, Luna. I am just wondering if any of you lovely folks have a guess as to what breed(s) she may be?
She averages 32-35 lbs and will be 2 in October. I have been told that her father is a pekingese/poodle mix, and I am unsure of the mother. I get questions all the time as to whether or not she is a beagle, which I believe may be primarily from her coloring. I am also told jack russell, rat terrier, and pit.
Any ideas?! Thanks in advance!
Also not sure how to make the image appear as an actual image, even when using the img code -- it just keeps coming up as a link?
If I were to guess, I'd definitely think there was beagle in that sweet dog somewhere (not from the colouring, but more from the body and head shape). Perhaps some Peke as well, though to me she also looks a wee bit like a beagle/pug cross.
She's an All American Mutt-dog! And a very nice one.
The problem with trying to figure out a dog's ancestry by looking at it is that it's pretty inaccurate (although it's a fun game to play). Your girl has the appearance of a typical street/village dog found in much of the world; her mother could have been practically anything. She looks like a cheerful, sweet soul, and that's what matters.
