I would like to shop around for a good book for dog lovers like me and my friends. Recommendations?

I have couple:
My old time favorite is "Dog Listener" by Jen Fennell. Probably the best i've read.

Another one i have is "POWER OF POSITIVE DOG TRAINING" by Pat Miller

and "The Other End of the Leash", by Patricia McConnell

I've enjoyed Jon Katz's books in the past.

Loved it! Wonder if the movie will do it any justice?

I just finished reading "Merle's Door: Lessons from a Free-Thinking Dog" by Ted Kerasote. Great book. The author shares his stories of his life with a dog that found him while rafting on the San Juan river in Utah. He mixes in personal experiences along with scientific studies on why dogs act the way they do.

If you liked "Marley and Me" you will like this one.
