That's really too bad that the owners were like that.
Well, you did a great thing helping him out. It's clear how much you love animals. The world needs more people like you!

I expect that you will see him sooner rather than later. Then, you can decide if you want to keep him. He's gorgeous and it looks like he gets along with your dog. If you think you would want to keep him, it sounds like the owners would readily give him up.

Tell that owner that if they ever want to give up Darwin, you'll take him. Sounds like they are not responsible pet owners!

Awwww, Darwin is a cutie. He looks like a cotton ball. I'm a sucker for a happy ending, but this isn't the one I was hoping for. Maybe you'll find him again though.

His actual name was Simba, even though he responded to Darwin while here! I think we need a second dog! PC is sad any time one of his buddies goes home.

Cute doggie and I have to agree with the above poster, once you gice the dog a name, it's yours! I hope you find the owner. But if not I hope you keep the little guy, he is too cute. Does he get along with PC?

Just read his owner was found. If a dog is found on the street, I found in most cases the owner did not care about it.....98 percent of the time. So many are just dumped.
The other 2 percent is the slim chance a responsible owners pet got away from them. It happened to me a couple of times back in Jersey. I had a neighbor that would leave the gate open in an area where he cut through to go somewhere. That was in a two family. My dogs were tagged and did not go far. I actually got them. That dog will get out again.

I was trying to think what to say but this says it all for me!

I took in a labrador stray that I found on the street for a month, years ago. I tried to find its owners and came to the conclusion that if they wanted to find the dog they would have done.

I was unable to look after the dog myself, but the labrador rescue society found a good home for it. It was hard to let it go.

What a cute little dog!!! I wish you & PC could have hept him, sounds like the owners are pretty indifferent...I agree, you will probably see him again, and if you do dont feel bad about keeping him now that you know his current situation isnt as great or as loving as it could be...poor little pup! You did the right thing by finding them, though...I cant imagine any of my dogs getting loose in the first place, but if any of them did for some crazy reason, I know I would be more than ecstatic upon their return!
