"Globalism has permanently changed the game. The middle class way of life that so many millions of Americans have been enjoying for so many decades is disappearing.
Just because things were a certain way yesterday does not mean that things are going to be the same way tomorrow. The long-term economic trends that this column keeps talking about day after day after day are taking us all to a very dark economic place."
They may NOT -- just saying they May NOT -- have a veiled corporate hidden profit agenda . . . .
AHHHHH!!!!!
They Might Be Communists!!!!!
or even worse -- Simply Trying To Share Information and Warn People!!!!!
oh, the horrors.
Did you look at the tabs on the website. Gold Coins, Silver Coins, Survival Products. It appears to be a self-serving site. No collapse, no market for the products.
Why no names of who wrote the pieces? Most blogs have at least a profile about the author.
They have a consistent pattern of throwing together "articles" that predict doom followed by a list of statistics that without context provide little validation. It is for the brainless to absorb, hiking the view counts and selling advertising space.

Mostly just having fun on this.
The ads glued on to my view were:
Amazon, Ecoloblue (Water from thin air!), and Quibids (Department Stores are Ripping You Off!).
But I do not take the internets advertisements too seriously, either way.
As for the content of the "blog" . . .
It looks like it is word-for-word on another 100 sites . . .
What is the motivation of The Economic Collapse? Is it to sell gold investments? Doomer products?
Where are the writer's names?
I don't take much value in written material with no author willing to claim ownership. It's just a veiled infomercial IMHO.
The author is Michael Snyder.
"Michael T. Snyder is a graduate of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and has two law degrees from the University of Florida. He is an attorney that has worked for some of the largest and most prominent law firms in Washington D.C. and who now resides outside of Seattle, Washington. He is a very active blogger and is also a respected researcher, writer, speaker and activist."

Did it look like any of the information content was not both factual and correct?

LV Drunk is correct. I find it really sad that one knucklehead will start a trend of dissing a source and a bunch more make a dog pile while not one discuss the topic.
Kinda like "casting pearls before swine" in my book but I'll keep trying to INFORM those that are interested and not living life with their head stuck in the sand.
Hah it says right there he is a professional blogger. He writing what he needs to write to feed the paranoid and make money.
