Hire the smartest Americans money can buy, and let them figure it out. The complete opposite strategy the US tends to employ basically...

It's poorly managed and largely corrupted.

Mind you, the US still remains the best house in the worst neighborhood. We can settle for mediocre if we want to.

so what neighborhood is better? the only neighborhoods that come close are EU and China if going by GDP...

you want to argue that it's better there? How? It's a lot easier to make money in the US than either of those places...

and how do you regulate poorly managed? By adding more management? And same with corruption, you can't really regulate it out... it's something that needs to be done by the people who are brought in...
