So is your assumption that a person increased their debt by the same amouny they paid off their mortgage while becoming mortgage free?

How many houses get passed on generationally do you think? Ever consider generational mobility?

Name one affordable place on the West Coast that has jobs. It's not the East Coast where everything is cheap because of the humidity and hurricanes every year.

Look at Eureka for example. At one time it was a local economic powerhouse until the lumber industry started dying in the 1960s.

How about Coos Bay, Oregon? A very old friend of mine actually went there for career reasons.
