Kelley Williams-Bolar, a 40-year-old mother of two, was convicted of a felony last week and sent to jail for 10 days. Her crime? Falsifying records so her kids could attend a safer school in the district where her father lives.
Authority hates it when individuals try to put equality and fairness into their own hands. This also has to do with racism. The school board is clearly fascist. This goes to show our education system is not liberal by any stretch of the imagination. I think that is obvious.
It's been a problem for 20-30 years in some places.
Oddly, there was a point in the 80s and 90s when the otherwise awful Washington DC public schools was routinely having to bust white suburban parents for trying to sneak their kids into the system because they had full day kindergarten and the much more highly regarded suburban district only had half days for that group.

Then she needed to MOVE instead of trying to break the law. What kind of lesson is that for her children? If you don't like your set of circumstances, then get off your *** and do something to make it better for you and your kids.
Schools are only allocated a certain amount of money, and these days it's very little. Even one more kid adds a tremendous burden on the school to provide texts, food, space, supplies, etc. If you don't like the current system and the way it's set up, then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. But for goodness sake- do it legally.
