Watched the video. Those parents, yup, real quality right there. They are absolutely to blame. Why? The mother outright said he has NO aggression problems, NO psychological issues and should not be examined by a professional. Probably gave the little sh*t an ice cream sundae and told him it was racism. Who lets their 7 year old kid wear a mohawk btw? Are they training him to be a Skid Row outcast?

Unfortunately, there are more and more ignorant turd parents like this being produced every day. Can't say I'd want to be a teacher now.

Are you SERIOUS?? Just anecdotal evidence, but my mother developed very severe rheumatoid arthritis throughout her body, starting in her early 40's..... At that time and until she retired about 15 years later, she was a reading specialist for children about the same age as the little heathen in this story. By the time she was in her late 40's, it would have been no problem AT ALL for an out of control, violent 7 year old to take her down.....

SO..... the school district she taught in and ALLLLL of the other children she taught those years should have lost the benefit of her experience and intelligence and talent because of this one bad actor??

Are you advocating minimum physical standards for teachers?

Yes I'm serious. I'll say it again. If you can't handle a physical altercation with a 50 pound 4 foot tall child you should not be working in a school. There has been no indication that this teacher was handicapped or elderly, or had any health problems.

wow..... so children should be deprived of a great teacher because that teacher could be injured by a violent, out of control, undisciplined classmate......

smh.....

This is funny. You are advocating terminating 94% of the elementary school teachers int he USA.

However you forgot part of your sentence. I will fix it for you.

If you can't handle a physical altercation with a 50 pound 4 foot tall child, without touching them shouting at them, threatening them, or physically impairing them in any manner, you should not be working in a school.

Now the sentence conforms with the rules. Except now you are eliminating 100% of elementary school teachers.

Except the teacher would be criticized, or worse, if he/she responded to the assault or defended himself/herself.

Yes that is part of being a good teacher. You have to be able to handle the job, and part of the job is being able to handle misbehaving children.

This has been repeated over and over. Cloudy has his/her fingers in his/her ears going LALALALA.

The parents and child both need to go to a family counselor and figure out where they went wrong allowing this type of defective behavior to go on. If they don't they might as well start saving bail money because the child will end up in jail/prison eventually.

This isn't a misbehaving child. This is a child who has no sense of right or wrong and needs to be removed from school until he can comply with proper behavior in a controlled environment. This is not like a child talking in class and being reprimanded. This is a child so out of control that he thinks beating a teacher over and over is acceptable behavior. His parents are failing to do their job.
