I saw in another thread where someone wanted a sticky for El Paso pictures. Well folks, it's here! Post your pics away. I would love to see more great El Paso photos.

I'll start it off. I think this photo is really pretty with the mountains and colors.

These pictures are courtesy of forum members Chuco and there are two thrown in there from forum member D'kota. You all start posting away and enjoy! Chuco, if you or D'kota have a problem with putting your pictures here, let me know and I'll take them down.

BTW, I've never been to El Paso but from all of the pictures, it's BEAUTIFUL! It reminds me of Reno, NV, a place I lived in for two years and loved it.

They are all beautiful, Synopsis......it's nice to see someone appreciate the desert/mountain beauty that is El Paso (even if you are a mod, LOL!!)

While I chose not to live there when I decided to move out of Midland (due to the sheer size of the place, lordy), I have always loved EP and the West Texas mountains.

However, I am only 80 miles away in Alamogordo, NM, so I can visit whenever...and I will be, since I need my Tex-Mex fix and Sam's Club.

Thanks for the sticky and the photos....they are much appreciated and enjoyed!!

WOW! that sunrise and those sunsets just make the sun explode all over El Paso, when I was in the Navy me and a cousin that was in college use to exchange mail and she would always tell me about how she would miss El Paso's sunrises and sunsets, I never gave it much thought since I grew up under the sun, ofcourse that was when the earth still had the full protection of an ozone layer.

El Paso is located in the right geographical part of the world in order to be able to produce these awesome and spectacular but common solar events, I could never see anything like this out at sea or anywhere in my travels throughout the world.
Synopsis went to flick R to get us some really cool shots of the Sun City, no wonder they call it the sun city, beautiful and just awesome.

Those are probably some of the prettiest sunsets I've seen anywhere. I wish I would have been the photographer!
