I would go to a boat(casino) that have just about anything you could ask for and more also try crablegs and crawfish(mud fish) looks gross but that is the best crap you will ever eat!! as for spicy well it is LA. everything is spicy!! hell our corn on the cob is spicy!

lol, my uncle told me, that as soon as you get off the plane, all you smell is hot sauce, that sounds cool with me, i put "chile" on everything anyway hahaha!

LA is cool, but the summer heat is unbearable for me. I spent a week in shreveport a while back and it takes a good day or two to acclimate to the oppressing humidity. I always have trouble breathing during that time, but after that it gets a little more tolerable. I don't like always feeling sticky though.. no escape. But I like the nice change of scenery, lots of green.

One of my sons has difficulties breathing, we have to give him nebulizer treatments every night, especially during allergy season, do you think he'll have trouble breathing?

Honestly, I don't know if that's a common phenomenon for people used to dry, arid climates. To me, the air feels thick and heavy. Whereas it feels the opposite for me in el paso. I'm just not used to it. As far as allergies are concerned, I actually feel a bit of relief in more humid climates. Those dang mulberries!!
