Depends on the field, but could be hard. Especially if you have a degree. Wife has 2 degrees and cannot find work.

it depends if your employment is service related, and the population you will be dealing with. For example, I work for lawyers in business and litigation -- no need for Spanish. If you work in health care, on the other hand, you would need to learn Spanish to serve the population.
