I agree 100%

I have to wonder. With the influx of people from Mexico, if everyone was crying before, I wonder what they are going to do now. I do notice it now. Not 75% but I do see more Spanish speakers that do no initially seem willing to speak English.

I am on the West side. We came here blind and I got lucky. Tippin and Lundy are supposed to be 2 of the best EPISD elementary schools. Schools outside of post look run down, old and the neighborhoods don't look that great. That doesn't mean they don't have great teachers. We wanted to move to post but because the education factor we are debating. There is no guarantee you would get the DOD school on post either. Especially if you don't live by it. Housing told us many people home school or do private school. The FAR east has nice houses as well. Although housing may be cheaper, stay away from Canutillo school district. They don't have a good education reputation. Good Luck!

I'm a bit nervous about the stay cause of all the stories but excited about the move. Can anyone tell me about temp lodging on base its rates and how it works, because I know we won't go straight into our new home so look for temp lodging for me and my family!
