There is a beautiful park, Sue Young Park on the Northeast side. It's on Diana Drive, off the North/South Freeway. Pretty and quiet.

Only quiet when Soccer season isn't in full swing. Otherwise....that park is packed!

Default McKelligan Canyon

There's also a location within McKelligan Canyon the city rents out. You can drive by there and check it out.

We had ours on Tom Lea Park on scenic drive. The stuck up residents in the area had issues with it but we paid them no mind. It was a nice day and we could not have asked for a better location.

Now they stuck some monument in the middle and ruined everything.

There is a nice park in NE El Paso on Kenworthy and Sun Valley called Arlenton Park. They have a nice facility there to have the reception or wedding or both. Call Parks dept, and see what it would cost.. I know people have rented it before.

I am the catering and event manager for the El Paso zoo and for a unique outdoor ceremony and reception you should consider us as an option. We can work with any budget and the site fee is minimal compared to most outdoor venues. You can check out a video at youtube.com and type in el paso zoo and its the one titled a formal affair. don't hesitate to contact me at monicatomas@kmssa.com

I am also looking for a wedding reception location here in El Paso. I want something unique, but also a location that shows off the unique culture in El Paso. I know the Plaza theater has a reception area called Alcantar Sky Garden, but I can't seem to find any pictures....does anyone have pictures or any other ideas?

I think Grace Gardens is over priced. I like El Paso Botanical Gardens, and I am looking into it, but besides that no ideas.

HELP PLEASE!
