My parents' neighbor had a sign in his front yard for Castro. I asked him about it and he said that she was the only one that was pretty. Unfortunately...he was serious. He really is that shallow.

Im telling you that the only reason Castro could have won last election is because she is pretty.

I hear what everyone is saying about Melani Castro, but until a viable candidate steps up to run against her, she will continue to be elected. I have never understood the voter apathy in the NE.

I used to think it was because of the large military population and less permanent residents, but that can't be the case now. Military people live all over the city. What are your views on this? The NE always feels shortchanged, slighted and somewhat the stepchild of the city, but what are we, as a community, doing to change that?

She'll still win even if you don't vote for her. Our neighborhood association had all the candidates come "do their thing" and none come across as credible. Not nearly enough going on with them to be elected.

I'm not a Castro fan either, but I do predict her victory. Any wagers, anyone? Where is Muhnay when you need him? LOL
