Mike Pence has been touted as a possible GOP contender in the 2012 Presidential race. As a voter, do you have a favorable opinion of Mike Pence? Is he a viable contender?

I like Mike Pence but a couple of things worry me about him. IE Warrentless wiretaps and such

If it came to Pence Vs Obama. I'd vote for Pence

Keep in mind... you're not going to agree 100% with ANYONE. Sometimes you may not even fully agree with yourself, as we change stances ourselves.

There are some aspects of Mike Pence with which I disagree, but he's FAR (and I mean FAR) better for the country than Barack Obama. Pence opposed the bailouts, stimulus, Obamacare, Medicare Part D, Card Check, Cap and Trade, Finreg and supports tax cuts, drilling nuclear power and loosening the regulations the Government places on businesses. Between Pence and Obama, I would choose Pence in a hearbeat and with no reservations whatsoever. It's NOT a hard choice.

What kind of experience does he have? To me that's going to be a big point who gets my vote.

His voting record in the Congress is impressive though, but we don't need a repeat of inexperience like we got with Obama.

Obama is a disaster b/c he is continuing the left wing voting record he had before, NOT b/c he is inexperienced. Pence is inexperienced as an exectuive, but (as his record shows), he's on the country's side. It's not so much experience as ideology and vision of the country.

Supposedly, HRC had experience but it was experience as a Communist and she would be a disaster as well.

No. He's introduced legislation in the past to try to restrict the production of adult movies. He's a typical social conservative who wants to keep the government out of the economy, but has no qualms about regulating our personal and social freedoms.

can't rep you so will just say, I agree. This is probably my biggest concern about so many new names I am following, I don't want another inexperienced President. Of course Obama was the most inexperienced we could have ever had.

No, he doesn't. I disagree with too many of his views.
